This is the daily journal of our trip to Fehmarn, Germany
as recorded by Judy Kostick Cummings,
sister of John S. Kostick

This is our fourth trip to Germany and the Island of Fehmarn.   This year’s trip was very memorable for John and myself, as we took a few days to go sightseeing in the South of Germany before traveling to Fehmarn.

I would like to thank the following people on Fehmarn and in the States for making our trip a spectacular success.

Dorothee Gossel for her advise and help in planning this trip;

Karl-Wilhelm Klahn and Heino Kühl for their gracious help at the Burg City Archives;

Wiebke Dannenberg at the archive in Neustadt for her assistance, along with Ralf Wenn who were so kind to help us on the day that we did research

and
Peter & Margot Seyer, who shared an enjoyable evening of dining and friendship with us.
