and Catharina. The man is her husband, who according to written records was
Hermann Bulsterbaum (the family apparently knew him as Gustav). The child is
probably their daughter Hulda, who was born in June of 1870. I believe the
photo was taken in Davenport, Iowa, probably in the early 1870's.
